Nintendo’s new, portable brainchild, the Switch, was unveiled at the tail-end of last year and went up for pre-order last month. In the days that followed, it quickly fell ‘out of stock’ at most retailers’ websites. Early impressions suggested that the Neon console sold out first, in case you were wondering. Retailers such as GAME kept pre-orders available but with the caveat that stock wasn’t guaranteed to arrive at launch.

All that has changed, though, since Nintendo UK has added a new batch of stock available to pre-order right now on its own website, as well as at a handful of selected retailers. This means that if you initially missed out on securing a pre-order for either version of the Nintendo Switch, you can head over to Nintendo’s UK site and put a pre-order down, which Nintendo assures us will be guaranteed for launch – at least until further notice.

So that was January. I spent its last weeks playing an absolute ton of Resident Evil 7 which, at times, honestly felt like the Evil Dead game we all deserve. Regardless, it’s February now and we’re here for another batch of gaming deals, the best of the past seven or so days. Let’s get to it.

As is the norm, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places.

Cast your minds back, if you will, to December last year. All that time ago, The Last Guardian finally saw a release after a decade of being in production. Finally, the world could play the latest game from the creators of legendary PS2 games Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Our very own , too.

Then just a couple short weeks after release, it was discounted massively down to £25 from its original £50 RRP. You may have spotted our article about that at the time and grabbed a copy and honestly, who could blame you for it? Given that it was Christmas, though, many people missed out on the eye-catching price cut. If you’re one of those people, you’ve been given a second chance today, since ShopTo has reduced the price of The Last Guardian once again, this time , which is the lowest the game has ever been priced at in the UK.

The Day One Edition of the game, for those not in the know, means you’ll get a digital bonus along with your shiny new game, in the form of a bonus weapon – the Masamune sword, which features an all-new design specific to Final Fantasy 15.

It’s January and the year in video games is just warming up, with the first major release of 2017 due before the end of the month: the distinctly gory, and we think rather promising (despite its redundant subtitle) Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. With that in mind, we at Jelly Deals and the folks over at have paired up once again to offer you the chance to win some PC copies of Capcom’s lean and mean new horror game.

Starting today, you can enter our contest via the widget below to be in with a chance of winning one of three PC copies of the game – two standard editions and one extra fancy Deluxe Edition. Entries close on Thursday 19th January at 9am (GMT), at which point three winners will be randomly selected and the keys will be sent out, with plenty of time for pre-loading. There are various ways to enter and boost your chance of winning, but be warned some of them do involve the use of your social media accounts (if you have them).

Happy New Year, everybody! Congratulations on making it all the way into 2017, the most angular of years to look at written down. This year will undoubtedly bring about a whole bunch of change – a new Nintendo console is always going to be a spectacle – as well as some familiar faces – looking at you, return of Assassin’s Creed. Hopefully, you’re all feeling extra well rested after the holiday break you presumably had, and maybe you’ve got some Christmas money to burn on something fancy and new, just for yourself.

With that in mind, we’ve got a whole new batch of stuff to check out this week, so let’s get cracking. As is the norm, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US – as well as presumably many other places.

This year has been rife with games being discounted within weeks after their launch but today has shown us possibly the most drastic of price drops for a new release. At the time of writing, if you head over to ShopTo you’ll be able to pick up a copy of the latest game from the creators of Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, The Last Guardian on PS4 for only £24.85. That’s for the ‘Exclusive Launch Edition’ of the game too, which features an extra nice slipcase cover to go over the regular box art. The standard edition of the game is also on sale for £24.85, though the Collector’s Edition is maintaining its £105 price-point for the moment.

As of this moment Amazon, who are known to price-match discounts on newly released games quickly after they appear, is holding it’s standard pricing of £44 but you may want to keep an eye on the just in case. In any case, it’s one heck of a price drop this close to the game’s release and I would expect the stock to vanish quickly. If you’ve been holding out on picking up a copy of this one until now, you may want to act fast to grab one of these. Merry Christmas, PS4 owners, I guess!

Time is seriously about to run out if you’re yet to finish all of your Christmas shopping. These are now the last desperate days of scrambling for deals before they go out of stock and the hurried purchases of a final few items. Then, you can relax: crash out in front of Wallace and Gromit with a drink in one hand and chocolates in the other, admiring all bargains you took advantage of over the last few weeks. Ready to do it all again next year? No? I don’t blame you.

Anyway, while we’re on the cusp on last shipping dates there are still deals to be found across the tech and gaming realm. Perhaps, instead of picking up something for someone else, you might want to reward yourself with an early Christmas treat. Come take a look at what’s on offer.
